I just wanted to say this....

This afternoon I sat down with Harry and I told him about what I had to do with the dogs.

As I cried he reassured me that it was the right thing to do and he told me that he was pleased to know that I had handled everything exactly the way he wanted it done.

Harry hugged me and told me that he was proud of my courage to do the right thing even though it was hard and even though he knows that he made it even more difficult. He said he is at ease.....

and now so am I.

This disease really does change people.... not just the patient but us too. He could not have given me a greater gift than his understanding and for that I will always be grateful.

Cindy
I was really happy to read this post, I know how stressed you have been over this issue.
In fact I am SURE this may be the start of that light-tunnel thingy LOL.

Take care

Cindy,

So glad to hear that you AND Harry have come to the same conclusion and that Harry is on your side (if you know what I mean). You mentioned that Harry spoke of your courage. Towards the end of my treatments my sister sent me a quote which I have taped to my PC monitor. It reads,
"Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is that little voice at the end of the day that says, I'll try again tomorrow." I'm proud of you Cindy and Marica is right about that light at the end of the tunnel.

Hugs, Nancy
