Hi:
I am pretty much confused. I am having a ulcer inside of my cheek and lip. It is painless and and even I can'nt feel it now. It has been more than 16 days. It has not completely healed but seems pretty slow in healing. It looks like skin colored with raised borders. Can anyone advice please?

Any sore in your mouth that does not heal for after 14 days needs to be looked at by a professional. Visit your dentist or a local oral surgeon. If it's something important you will be catching it early, if it is nothing, you will be getting peace of mind.

I have done biopsy done, but the doctor
says that it will take about a week
to get the results. Though I tried to
call him and he says he has not yet
received the results, I have already
an appointment for Friday for stitiching
cut on biopsy. I also noticed that the
corners of the ulcers are little bit down
now and I can'nt tell whether the ulcer is
healed or not. It seems healed but when
I pull my lips it still seems not healed.

I have apparanetly no other symptoms. When
you say it is early stage of catching, what
does it mean? Please expalain.

First of all, let me say that a few days I
was relieved by this site. I was able to
receive solace by knowing more and truthful
information.

This afternoon, I received my biopsy report
and the oral surgeon told me that I should
not worry. It is not related to cancer. I
am highly relieved.

However, I appreciate the work that Brian
had put in opening this discussion board.

I feel my appreciation to all and wish from
my heart the best of health.
