I’m 8 weeks out of treatment. Progress for me is very slow - frustratingly slow! I have started to eat things that are relatively easy to swallow - eggs, smoothies, soups, etc. Solid foods continue to be a challenge - very uncomfortable to swallow, some get stuck on the way down (bread, etc). Strength and stamina are returning slowly. I can participate in moderate exercise- started back to playing hockey recently but still find naps in the afternoons are welcomed. Wish the recovery progress was quicker....

Biopsy surgery on August 15
Confirmed sqcc from biopsy Aug 20 - hpv type 16
33 radiation treatments ended October 25, 2019.
3 (large dose) cisplatin treatments.
