He didn't see anything or feel anything of concern but since Ken's case has been "a-typical" he asked them to move up Ken's scheduled CT scans from 6/30. He called today to say there is a little bit of change from the April scans and he wants to do a biopsy on Wed. to rule anything out or catch it early. He said it could still be damage from radiation but he doesn't want to take any chances. (Original biopsy was negative back in 2009 but was sent out this January to Dana Farber and they said there were makers back then). Just wondering if anyone else has similar stories and any insight that might help.

He said he is worried so I am a mess. He said we could come in on Tues. to get the results but that is Ken's birthday so I am not sure he will want to come in then. I asked the Dr. if the biopsies come back positive what the next step would be and he said surgery but that we will talk about it on Tues. if necessary. Considering they said surgery was not an option last time I am not sure how it can be this time. I PRAY the results are good but I am so scared.

The doctor was vague, but guess he didn't have all the results yet, but it did sound promising that if it were something bad, it can be dealt with, which is good news. I know nothing keeps you from worrying; my prayers are headed that way. julieann
