My father underwent his 4th surgery in Korea, which was deemed successful, but was very invasive. He has severe dysphagia and the doctors there deem chemotherapy to dangerous a route because of the possibilities of nausea, which has the potential to cause pneumonia.
My parents have been speaking with alternative hospitals which mentioned Radachlorin as a possible treatment option. I am skeptical, but would like any information anyone may have abou this treatment. Thanks for your time. | | | | | Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 Administrator, Director of Patient Support Services Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) | | Administrator, Director of Patient Support Services Patient Advocate (old timer, 2000 posts) Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 10,507 Likes: 8 | I had not heard of this before. So, I looked it up and it appears its still being tested here in the US. One study in 2004 mentioned it may be available in the US in 15 years which is about 2019.
