Paula....I agree with the others and I think you do too:) I would buy it and enjoy. I love the quote from earlier in this thread about how we remember moments...we sure do. Having lost 2 close family members in one month I say GO FOR IT!!!!!

WE DID IT!!! WE PICKED UP THE CAR LAST NIGHT AND SHE IS A BEAUTY!! BLUE WITH BLACK STRIPES DOWN THE SIDE - DODGE CHALLENGER SRT-8! We worked the deal with a dealership way out in No Man's Land, TX...took us 2 1/2 hrs. to get to the dealership - Jim and I listened to music the entire trip and acted like a bunch of kids going to a Friday night football game. We left after I got off of work and the guy agreed to reopen the dealership at 9:00 pm or whenever we could get there - AND THEY DID! I just love country folk! They really go the extra mile for you...She (the car) was sitting out front waiting on us - All sparkly and brand new! We signed the paperwork, Nestle (our 4 lb. poodle) jumped in with me and the "salesman/kid" linked my cell phone to the navigation system or some system so that I can talk on my cell phone hands free! He went over all the details and I finally told him that I would read the manual and he needed to move so that Jim could drive it home. He told me that he thought it was for me and I said it was...just not right now. Jim was so excited - he has lost his voice so we couldn't talk, but I knew that this really made him happy. He is always so stoic, but his eyes were twinkling with delight; Nestle and I followed him home and even though we couldn't talk on the phone, I knew that he was jazzed, especially when he came to a stop and then sqealed the tires on take off...he wrote me a note when we got in bed and asked me "did you feel the power in her shoes"? So, we're going to name her "PJS TOY" for Paula and Jim's Toy...but we all know whose toy it really is....thanks to your words of encouragement to do this - I wouldn't have proceeded without your input.

I'm in the process of scheduling at PET as Jim has been without a voice for almost 2 weeks - - don't know why, not sure we want to know either - at least not now...

YEAHHH! She sounds like a beauty, congratulations! I'm sure this will do a world of good for Jim. I got a kick out of seeing that you named the car. We have names for all of our vehicles too! Hope you both get to spend a lot of time enjoying PJS Toy.

Love,

Shelley
