I had an appt with my ENT this morning which kept me away from the HBO. The Dr made up for it by putting tears in my eyes, He hates to hurt you but sure as heck will to see what he needs to see. It came down to scar tissue and radiation burns around and on my tongue as well as the gums and floor of my mouth. He is still hoping the HBO will take care of the exposed bone. He thinks that is what is making my throat hurt so damn much too.

Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
--- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here
