I am do for one now. The surgeons nurse called today and I get it done on the 22nd of this month. Follow up is The 15th of Oct unless something shows. I had the Nissen Fundiplication in 1995 when they wrapped 1/3 rd of my stomache around my Esophagus. Then the same surgeon did Emergency surgery on my abdominal anneurysm on Aug. 15th, 1999. I don't know how, but I always seem to end up with the top in the Mediacl Field. I now have Barretts Esophagus and that is the reason for getting scoped so much. The last one was 1 month after the neck Dissection and removal of part of my tongue. This surgeon is also the guy that found out for sure that I had OC. I owe him a lot of gratitude for his caring manner.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April. --- Passed away 5/14/14, will be greatly missed by everyone here
