Sorry to hear...hope the antibiotics clear things up! I know exactly what you mean about the medical profession. Dan had an appointment at Hopkins about his PVL and they were no help at all...no studies for this rare disease. Dan also has a swollen gland and jaw pain, so he will be having a CAT scan tomorrow...we had to push a lot just to get another CAT scan and it's been 4 months since surgery. I keep thinking more cancer also, but I will pray for both Dan's that things clear up and no more cancer!

Debbie/Caregiver/wife of Dan, diagosed with SCC tongue, Stage II/III, 1/3 tongue removal, lymph node dissection both sides of neck, skin graph 7/30/03. Left tumor found - radical left neck dissection 12/24/03. Could not get all of tumor/wrapped around carotid artery and in wall of jugular. 1/12/04 beginning of 6 doses of Taxol/Cistoplatin once a week, and rad 70 gray 5 days a week/6 weeks.
