Joined: Jun 2007 Posts: 5,260 | When I had surgery in Aug. 3 of my youngest grandkids wrote me letters. I just found them and read the. Who would ever thing kids ages 6 thru 9 can express their feelings so well it would put tears in your eyes. I hate for them to go thru this again but have no choice. The 9 yr old boy said he was afraid the whole time I was in surgery and cried. letters like that tear me up inside.
Since posting this. UPMC, Pittsburgh, Oct 2011 until Jan. I averaged about 2 to 3 surgeries a week there. w Can't have jaw made as bone is deteroriating steaily that is left in jaw. Mersa is to blame. Feeding tube . Had trach for 4mos. Got it out April.
