Good morning Carla, just re-reading your thread to see what's going on with you.

In case you care to know, there is a pdf document about HPV available from the American Cancer Society website. If memory serves it says there are 12 high risk (capable of causing cancer) strains of HPV.

I read some stuff from the Center for Disease Control website and got the overall impression that there still is a lot that is not known about this cancer; they used the phrase "additional research needed" quite a lot.

Please don't take these comments in a negative way; they are certainly not meant to be negative. We're all going down the same road with you and trying to learn what we can about OC.

09/13 SCC, HPV 16, tonsillectomy, T2N0.
11/13 start rads, no chemo
12/13 taste gone, dry mouth,
02/14 hair slowly returning
05/14 taste the same, dry sinuses, irrigation helps.
01/15 food taste about 60% returned, dry sinuses are worse in winter.
12/20 no more sinus problems, taste pretty good
