| Senior Member (100+ posts) Joined: Jan 2011 Posts: 123 | Ken has been experiencing pain at the back of his tongue/throat on the right side (tumor mostly on left) for a few weeks so we went to the ENT on Tues. He didn't see anything or feel anything of concern but since Ken's case has been "a-typical" he asked them to move up Ken's scheduled CT scans from 6/30. He called today to say there is a little bit of change from the April scans and he wants to do a biopsy on Wed. to rule anything out or catch it early. He said it could still be damage from radiation but he doesn't want to take any chances. (Original biopsy was negative back in 2009 but was sent out this January to Dana Farber and they said there were makers back then). Just wondering if anyone else has similar stories and any insight that might help.
