Joined: Feb 2005 Posts: 118 Likes: 1 | Yes, ABT = antibiotic. I had a 21 day course of Biaxin (Clarithromycin) 500 mg twice a day for each infection. There was improvement with decreased redness and swelling within a week of starting the ABT, but I did complete the ABT each time, which is most important.
