I would love to attend the walks, but the cost is prohibitive. I was thinking that perhaps something like a "Walk in Place" option might allow me to participate while still adding to the coffers of that particular OCF Walk. It is true that the lone walker would not be able to meet other OCF family members, but perhaps this would be the best option rather than not participating at all.

My idea is that I would walk the same distance here in my home town, collect pledges and submit the funds to the walk. OCF would have to provide the receipts, etc and perhaps the lone walker can share their walk via photo or video.

Your thoughts?
