I finished chemo and radiation 2 weeks ago. I have been developing tremors and shakes in fingers almost like a palsy. Has anyone else had this happen? My wife heard an add for one of these Attys that said is you have been negatively affeted by one of these drugs, and it happened to be one I was taking to make sure my bowels did not plug. When we called the hospital they said to stop taking it. I think it was redelin.
Also I find about 5 pm become very anxiuous and can't wait to go to bed at 7 pm. I have cut off all meds at this point and wonder if some of the anxiousness might be from not taking Loritab?

My doctors told me to just stop the fently patch 50mg. I was on it for four weeks. I suffered like I never did in my life, chills that were pain, sweats at the same time. It took me 48 hrs. Then my doctors told me to just stop the Vicodin liquid i was taking for 6 weeks. Again I went through the same thing. It has been 3 days and today is the first day since Sunday that I feel somewhat normal.
Don't know if that helps or not, but it's my story.
I am almost 3 weeks out.

Your doctor sounds like he needs his ass kicking. You should never stop meds like that unless you enjoy cold turkey.lol

Irishmist ,have any of your meds got ephedrine or phenyl epherine in? these are synthetic adrenaline type drugs and can cause an increase in heartrate tremors and shakes

Good call Cookie! If I still had the strength I'd help kick. Opiates need to be weened off from or you can actually die from it....lord that dr was an idiot!

I get the shakes pretty often anymore, but I get them when my pain meds are wearing off. I did however get pretty nasty shakes and sweats right after chemo/radiation.
