My opinion is that she would be making a very foolish choice to quit. As one who went a year "cancer free" only to have it come back with a vengeance, I can tell you that God forbid your mom has a recurrence, you will be haunted by any decision to quit now. However, if her doctors feel that she had enough in light of surgery, and you are asking if she should follow her doctor's advice, that would be a different story. I know I'm very glad I did the max, just bad luck that my cancer was radiation resistant/reslient. It is hard hard hard.
