Neck is burnt badly. Doc has prescribed lidocaine 5%/hydrophor ointment which is really helpful. I found that applying this with a cosmetic sponge instead of my fingertip caused him less pain and it applied more uniformly as i can pat with the sponge. For others new to this, as I am, thought I'd pass that along.

My mother has had oral cancer 3 times. Last week she was told that she has cancer in a lymph node on the right side of her neck. Today the oncologist said she will have it removed before 3/20 and will have to undergo RT but they won't know how much until after the surgery. Thanks again.
