A laptop with a DVD player works well, some offices even have wireless internet these days..... It is boring, unless you can sleep you need something to do.

With respect to the nausea. Obviously, this is individual and also depends how often (how much) you get the poison. I had Erbitux, cisplatin and carboplatin. Since I only had Erbitux once and just 10% of a bag of it at that I cannot comment on it. My only comment here is to watch out for severe allergic reactions.

My chemo was weekly. Carboplatin in contrast to cisplatin did not make me nauseous at all. Other than what I received during the infusion I did not take anything. I presume that you are getting this weekly as well. I have no experience with taxol.
