I had a cleaning in November, about 4.5 months after treatment, but this was the first exam with X Rays and such. To be honest, I was dreading it, as I could see and feel some of the radiation damage to my teeth.
To be honest, I was pleasantly suprised. He is going to do some restoration of the enamel on the biting surfaces of my upper and lower front 4 teeth, and has one tiny cavity to fill. Otherwise the teeth and jaw look good. He even made a favorable comment on the condition of my gums!!! That has NEVER happened. Go figure. Neck and shoulders are shot, but teeth are remarkably good. The treatment giveth and the treatment taketh away . . .
