I have been trying to log on for over a month now finally I created a new name so i can post. I hope to go back to my old name. I had cleared my cookies and then forgot my password. I have requested my password by email about 20 times with no response. Not sure if this is a glitch or if I am doing something wrong?

It is sending out passwords, since new people are sign up to the board every day. You could have a spam blocker problem or firewall issue, or the email service you use may be blocking this url for some reason. But the board is now working at optimum, and is on a dedicated server so it is way faster. Anyway you are here now, give yourself a permanent password in your profile.

I'll have to check with Cester to see if the system has a max number of temp passwords it will send out. But there may be a way to merge your old name and your new one. I have never done this before, but I am willing to try it with you. Better yet, we could try to reactivate your old account name. Why don't you call me tomorrow evening and I will try to do this with you on the phone. I will PM you my home number if you want to try this.

I just checked your old and new accounts you have two different email addresses. The old account will only send a new password to the email that it has registered, not to the new email that you are currently using under this new screen name. I could change the email address on your old account to this new email that you are using, and have it send you a new password. Would you like to try that?

why dont we just try that...I only put the other email because I thought there might be a problem with my hotmail. It is not that big of deal it just had me puzzled.. I too thought maybe there was a limit on passwords. I just wanted to bring it up in case other people were having problems. Thank you for taking the time.
