I kept mine pretty flushed out, but for those stubborn times I used some regular coca-cola. Worked Great !

What are you putting down the PEG that might cause it to occlude? I flush mine with a fast push of the plunger using seltzer water--lots of bubbles-- and usually when I do that a couple of times it gets rid of anything thhat's a problem. I'm also pretty careful what goes down it--lots of stuff can clog a PEG.

The ones I get come with a plunger part. Also, with the g tube I have, blending meat or fruit and flushing it down my tube would definitely clog it up ( I do use my blender a lot but for stuff I eat orally). I stick to pretty thin liquids and mostly prescription nutition formula for the tube.

But you could probably make something pretty equivalent by mixing up milk, soymilk, protein powder, some water soluble fiber (such as Metamucil here--I don't know what it would be called in Greece, maybe some honey, and a ground up mutivitamin. If you are blending up fruit, if your PEG is as narrow as mine, I'd recommend first running it through a sieve with a fairly tight mesh so that you get out any of the chunks of fiber that could clog up your tube. Same with any liquid with ground up meat in it.
