Hello,
My name is Cindy. My husband Chuck was diagnosed
with SCC, unknown primary. Had modifyed neck
disecction with tow cancerous lymph nodes removed
on March 8th, also had tonsil on same side removed as they thought it was where the cancer
came from, but the biopsy came back clean on the
tonsil.
He just had his 4th radiation session today, will
have 33 total,IMRT. So far so good, from reading
your posts from the last month I know what to
expect!!! Thank you all for all your information, you probably don't realize all the
people you help as a lot of us don't write in!!
Will be sending in a donation today-you are a
great source of information!!

Thank you Cindy and my best to Chuck. (from your neighbor Mark)

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.
