Wish I could say I wasn't nervous!! Here's hoping that no matter what the results are, I find the strength to deal with it. But please, please, please show all clear lymph nodes & margins!!!!

It appears there is a huge backlog with pathology and it will be awhile yet before I get the results I'm working hard at sucking up this frustration, but so far its not working tonight. So I will allow myself to GRUMP about it tonight and then wait patiently. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for the good thoughts. Donna

Deb..caregiver to husband, age 63 at diagnosis, former smoker who quit in 1997. DIAGNOSIS: 6/26/07 SCC right tonsil/BOT T4N0M0 TREATMENT START: 8/9/07 cisplatin/taxol X 7..IMRT twice daily X 31.5. TREATMENT END: 10/1/07 PEG OUT: 1/08 PORT OUT: 4/09 FOLLOWUP: Now only annual exams. ALL CLEAR!

Adele, mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the submandibular gland, 05/06, left neck dissection, gland and tumor removed, intermediate grade, margins negative, 9 lymph nodes negative, no rad, no chemo, 11/07 surgical biopsy of lymph node left neck, no cancer!

I just learned I have the ca back. 7 years ago had the left side of my tongue out - about 1/4 and about 33 rad treatments. Now back on the same side. Please keep us posted.
