Thank you so much Minnie. The first thing I told my mom was about you and and your surgery and how good you look. My sisters first question was, "will she still look like my mom?" and he said absolutely that he has a very good reconstructive surgeon so we mentioned that he might want to tighten up the other side of her neck (the one she did not have the neck dissection on) and we all had a good laugh. We are so relieved. She was seriously thinking that she would have to start getting her affairs in order.
I really want her to have the surgery. She has been in enough pain for far to long. She was also ok with it because she will not lose anymore of her tiny tongue so her speech shouldn't be affected. I will let you know what he decides next week.
