Minnie,

Sounds like a very good treatment plan and that you have very knowledgable docs treating you. Not sure what you mean by a "bone solution" but it is probably a bone graft and I'm sure that the purpose is to get denser bone in the upper jaw so that the implants will integrate better. The upper jaw bone is more porous than the lower and that's why the immediate placement of the implants in the lower jaw is more common.

Sounds like you'll be eating your favorite foods way before Christmas.

Good luck and keep me posted.

Jerry

Hello Ed, how are you?? Do you ever hear from any of the posters from that other board you and I were on like a year ago?? Anna and Jim were two of the posters, the other I only knew as Scubie. I know Jim had a recurrence and wondered if you knew how he was doing.

Jerry, yes, it's bone grafts, that's the proper term for it. And if I can simply chew one tiny piece of pork chop by Christmas, I'll be thrilled. My docs tell me I'll be biting apples and eating corn on the cob! Imagine that.
