Hi everyone,
I have a question regarding my dad's immune system. He has been done with treatments since July '05.

This winter he has been catching everything that has passed by him. He never used to get sick, but now that he's missing so many lymph nodes, he's constantly sick. I assume this may be normal, but I was wondering if any others that are out of their treatment have found a supplement, vitamin, or some sort of way to build up his immune system.

Thank you, in advance, for your advice.

LIVE STRONG!

I assume someone doing blood work to make certain everything is good, including thyroid?

I'd go see the nutritionist at the hospital. After radiation I was put on Zinc and a whole bunch of Vitamins to help me heal faster. I've stayed on them ever since and don't seem to catch much of anything.

Take care,
Eileen

A nutritionist is an option if your insurance covers such things. Is your Father a Veteran? If so, the VA furnishes this service to qualified Veterans like myself.
Good Luck
