I have a very similar situation with you in that I had nearly all of tongue removed (total glossectommy) with flap from left thigh, attached to mouth floor, and would like to know more about freeing up the simulated tongue. Thanks.

Decanullation: 24Mar'09
IMRT x30, concurrent with chemo (cisplatin) x3: May-Jun '09
PEG out: 23Oct'09
