On one of your responses to a question, Anne, it sounded like you had exactly what I had done. But I am not eating anything. Therapist said only food which is pureed was recommended. Don't see where I could get enough calories eating this way because doesn't sound appetizing. How did you get past this Anne? Thanks for any help.

COG, I took it very, very slow. Sometimes I would just get done eating my breakfast and it was time to eat my lunch. You don't have to eat just pureed food. Some of the things that worked for me were pudding, jello, individual cherry cheese cakes, oatmeal, cream of wheat, grits, creamed soups and of course ice cream. I found that for vegetables chopped broccoli and chopped spinch worked well. I started with my first meats by taking ground turkey breast and putting it in the food processor to grind it some more. Favorite dinner was a turkey burger, mashed potatoes and gravy.

I still am very careful what I eat in public, anything with a knife and fork works fine. Take your time and it will get better.

Take care. Anne.
