I found an informative bulletin in the attached website that lays out the standard treatment processes for each type and stage of cancer for head and neck. My doctor is on the panel and I found it informative adn may be helpful for those in early diagnosis also.

SCC R-Tonsil T2 NO MO Dec 2003. Completed IMRT Radiation only to tonsils(72Gy) and neck(55Gy)March 04. Detected at age 50.

I just got their set of pamphlets. They are very informative and well written. They have separate booklets for cancer of the lung, breast, prostate, and several other cancers, but none for oral cancer. Many of other booklets were pertinent for some of the oral cancer side effects like pain, nausea, etc. I wrote and told them to consider a seperate pamphlet for oral cancer since their are many patients that would appreciate the information.
