First to introduce myself, my name is Ashley and I am a student at UNC Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. I also currently serve as the 1st Oral Cancer Walk chairperson in the University Chapter of the Student National Dental Association. This year we have taken on the wonderful task of planning and sponsoring the 1st Annual Oral Cancer walk at the University. I would like some ideas from anyone; people who have planned in a walk and those who have participated in one. Thank you all so very much in advance for your help! ^_^ | | |

First of all welcome. Secondly, I thank you as a dentist, oral cancer survivor and a member of the OCF for undertaking the task of running this event.
I have paricipated in both of the walks in NYC. I think that I may be able give you some help on several fronts.
I will be sending you an email with my phone numbers and you can call me when the timing is right for you.

And thank you Jerry! I shall look forward to hearing from you! I am really excited about heading this project and I would really like to see it become an annual event at the University. I will of course keep the forum up to date on the progress of the program.
