I have a question...my husband started his chemo and radiation (twice daily) this past Monday and although this is just the third day, it is unbelieveable how quickly the swelling in his neck has resolved from the tumor (primary site tongue cancer at base T4N2cM0). Is this usually what happens? I am so shocked at how quickly the radiation and chemo have shrunk the swelling and I am extremely happy. Just wanted to find out if this is what usually happens. Any info would be greatly helpful. Everyone has been so nice and kind, and I am finally feeling good since treatment for Doug has started. Thanks again, Sincerely, Virginia

Scca in BOT,T3Na2Mo, have started chemo but imrt has been delayed a couple week while I get my dental all up to date. Had multiple extractions yesterday. It sounds like things are going great for you, I'm glad you can find some good experiences. Myself, I am continually amazed at the skill and caring of my multiple docs and staff. Go for it! Edd | | |
