Can you send good vibes to Brainstorer, AK Jen, I see from her journal that she has had her surgery and I know she has her lap top with her and would appreciate all good wishes for her recovery..

Hi Jen,
Been thinking about you and wondering how the surgery went. Hopefully it was only a neck disecction. Remember when you walk or sit to support the arm so you have no drag on the shoulder until you build up your strength. Kids and hubby lug laundry and groceries into house. You cannot lift anything that is over a pound. Get into PT as soon as possible and you'll be back to your old self much faster. Give ud an update when you can.

SCC Base of tongue diag. April 04 Stage IV, mets to rt. neck multiple nodes 35 rads+8 boosts First recurrence Jan05. Rt.rad neck dissection Feb02/05. Recurred with bone mets in neck July 05.
