Tough couple of weeks due to throat pain and constipation and ascociated pain. Could not keep Jevity feed down until changed anti-nausea to Motilium (this also keeps stuff moving through gut so I guess it removes feed from danzerzone quicker).

I can tell it's getting hard for you Chris. You're past the halfway point, and as crazy as it seems right now...you will survive. The weapons we have to employ against this rotten villain are tough tough tough!
Keep on posting so we can encourage you with your fight. Remember we've all been there and are 100% in your corner.
Be as much of a pest as you need to be to get what you need, whether it's appropriate pain control or the right nourishment.
I'll be watching for you.
All the best,
Fran

ChrisS, your getting there. Remember, anyone can get through a couple of weeks. Hang in there, it does get better. I found that prune juice in the peg worked very well for the constipation issue. In fact, I had to stop using it after a couple of weeks of 7 oz. in the morning as things got a little too loose. We're all rooting for you.

Hang in there Chris,

As bad as it seems right now you will get better. Depending on how you react to your treatment will determine your length of recovery. Some with the same treatment have completly different
experiences. Some good, some bad.
You can go back and read several posts on just about anything you can think of discussed on oral cancer. Go to the search part above and type in a word you want to learn about. Alot of good stories and experiences.
