Also entered 3rd week of constipation. However, some laxative (Co-Danthremer) and Prune Juice shifted this dramatically today..Found that Glycerin supposotories eased the way..I was prescribed mainly codeine for pain in the early part of the treatment and I believe this is worse for causing consipation than other (stronger) pain meds. This is now the half waymark of the treatment..roll on another 3 weeks. | | |

I'm going to be about 5 weeks behind you and, although I realize every person responds differently to treatment, you've given me some idea of what sort of things I can expect as I go through it. Congratulations on being halfway through!

Remember to rest as much as you can and take in as many fluids as possible. There will be rough days ahead, but as surely as the last three weeks went by..so will they. Don't forget that these rads are cumulative. They give you a little bonus of extra misery after they're complete. Keep on writing and let us help you mark your ups as well as the downs. It's all part of the journey to victory. All the best to you, Fran
