Hello All,

Started another round of chemo today. This after having a mri of my throat and a cat scan of my lungs last wednesday.

The Doctor came in with a big smile on her face. The multiple lung nodules seen in June are no longer there!!!The cat scan came back as clear as the ice in Mark's backyard! The mri also showed no growth in the surgical bed from prior scan in June. The Taxol & Carboplatin seem to be holding it in check. I have learned to be happy again. Who knows for how long? But it sure as hell is better than it could have been. I know alot of you were pulling for me and like it or not alot of prayers sent this way also.
Marcee and I will be in Virginia in April for Minnie's Cancer Walk. Looking forward to meeting everyone who can make it. Thanks again for all your support. It means more to me and my family
than I can express in words.

Love Ya, Danny Boy

Hot damn Danny, I knew all it took was a 'kick in the a..' to get your doctors moving. I knew you could do it. I was not about to take that dx they gave you in May. Here's to a great 2005 and hope to see you and Marcee in Virginia Beach in April.

Take care,

I just read this post Danny and went straight to the phone to call my daughter, Megan. She asks about you a number of times a week as her computer is broken right now and she hasn't been able to read the posts.
Our prayers for you have been answered, we have such a wonderful God.
See you in April Captain Danny, I'm so happy that our walk will include so many of the OCF posse!

Danny Boy,
What great news! I am so thrilled for you. You mentioned ice in the back yard...I don't want to make you feel bad, but I did play golf in shorts and a short sleeved shirt yesterday. Maybe you and your wife should come down to Texas and join the other snowbirds in the balmy weather. You cheeseheads practically invented those Winnebagos, right?

Take care...you really deserved the good news.
