Stephen had his checkup yesterday and things could not be better!! The redness and scar tissue on the tumor site is settling down. Stpehen finished treatment over a year ago now but the tumor site always caused concern with its redness and scar tissue. I have had several frantic postings to this site after doctor's visit and have always been comforted by the advice that I have received. The stress of the doctor's apointment still lingers on today but I feel free to enjoy the holidays and to care for my 3 teenage children as Stephen's next apt is not until the end of January. My daughter, who I have not seen in 4 months, arrives home soon. I wish everybody peace and hope for the holiday season.

I am so happy for you, Stephen and your kids! Now you can relax and have the best holiday season of your lives. I don't think that night before the doctor appointment will ever be what I want it to be but for now, you have a guarentee until the next visit. Enjoy it to the fullest.
