He had one treatment a day for three and a half weeks, then two treatments a day for two and a half weeks. He was holding his own till last weekend when his throat basically shut down. His biggest problem is this 'bubbling' in his throat. He says it's like someone dumped peroxide down there. He can't swallow it, he has to spit it up. It moves from one side of his throat to the other and he can actually feel it bubbling. He is getting little sleep as it chokes him if he doesn't clear it out. What the heck is it and when will it clear out? Also he is coughing alot because of the heavy mucas. When that goes away will he get that dry throat I keep reading about? Right now his mouth is always full of something. I would appreciate any help you can give us. Debi | | |

There is a string in Introduce yourself called something like' dealing with radiation side effects' that has some good suggestions. Go read that. Meanwhile, this post will get you back to the top so someone else may answer. I think you lost in the weekend shuffle.
Take care, Eileen
