Thanks Carol! I just sent you an email. Jerry, I will go check out Eva's website.

My doctor's appt. went great! The surgeon trimmed the loose part in the front off and said the rest of the graft looks great. He also took out a couple of the stitches that he said looked like they would "bother" me. All the while he kept saying "I'm not hurting you am I?". He is such a sweet man. I just haven't had the pleasure of being around many doctors with his bedside manner.

He also looked at my arm, leg and neck/chin stitches, and trache. He said everything is healing great. Sure was good for my morale. :-) I still have a ways to go, but things are looking up!

Hi Jennifer, I am so happy to hear you had a great doc's appt. My doctors are kind and very caring, it makes things so much nicer.

Diagnosed May 2002 with Stage IV tongue cancer, two lymph nodes positive. Surgery to remove 1/2 tongue, neck dissection, 35 radiation treatments. 11/2007, diagnosed with cancer of soft palate, surgery 12/14/07, jaw split. 3/24/10, cancer on tongue behind flap, need petscan, surgery scheduled 4/16/10

Hi Jennifer
I'm so pleased to hear that you are healing well, don't try to do to much with your arm until the scars have had time to heal, I tried to be clever and part of the wound split open and of course the scar is bigger than it needed to be. 8 months on and everything healed super. So take care of yourself lady...
