I can eat almost anything (my left side needs water etc to wash things down). People think I talk well but I can't talk for prolonged periods of time without the flap side drying out and sticking to the roof of my mouth. I have two questions: -Being almost 6 months out, the flap side is still swollen what is your experience? -How long before the side opposite node surgery swelling goes down? I have a double chin on the "good" side. Thanks

Are you due for a check up, sounds like you need some advice to put your mind at rest. Make an appointment, we are all great worriers on here....get it checked out.. Sunshine... love and hugs Helen
