Hi, I am new here and was wondering if anyone has been pregnant and had cancer at the same time. The reason I ask is that the oncologists and doctor have screwed up big time and I have been having cancer treatment for the past two months and am four months pregnant. They tested me to check I was not pregnant etc and my results and tests have all been messed up and lost and now they have come back sying I am pregnant. The problem is with the chemo and stuff the morning sickness and missed periods I have been having I just thought was due to the therapy and stress and the fact that i am unwell.
I have spoken to many professionals about my predicament and am wondering if anyone on here has had a similar experience or knows of anyone else in my position. I am not sure what to do for the best and am fed up with talking to these professionals who have no first hand experience of what I am going through. my partner is completely freaked out by all of this and has gone awol and strangely I am quite calm but very concerned with all of this and the effects and the fact that these health care professionals have MAJORLY messed up.

Thanks in advance, Rainbow.

Rainbow, Welcome to the site. Sorry you have to deal with this disease, but this site will help you. When I was going through my treatments, I did see a couple of women who were pregnant and also in treatment. I don't know what their treatment was, if they were in chemo or just radiation, but they were in treatment. Hope this helps a little to ease your mind.

Hello, Rainbow...
I can imagine your distress at this point. I can offer you nothing but prayer, and you can be assured that you will be in ours from now on. It is too sad that the baby's father hasn't stepped up to the plate in this situation. I hope (if he is worth anything) that he comes 'round for you!
Please take care of (both) yourself!
