I had a CT scan done a month or so ago, by my request, to look at the soft tissue of my head and neck. I then had the scan, which was ordered by my GP, copied to a local h&n surgeon at a cancer center. The conclusion has been made that I have two sub clinical nodes in the left side of my neck. So what does that mean? The H&N surgeon says he sees nothing to warrent further investigations. He says that the bony lump in my palate looked "normal", re-affirming his assessment by palpation. I still can't help but to wonder what would be causing these left sided symptoms especially these enlarged nodes. I guess maybe somethings just can't be explained by modern medicine.
