I'm 21 years old, casual smoker. Smoke about a pack a week. A few months ago I started noticing a lump on the bottom side of my mouth, under my tounge. This morning I woke up to a sore tounge, and noticed a sore about half an inch wide under the left side of my tounge. Now, I LOVE salt, and I had alot of incredibly salty foods yesterday. Could this be the cause of the sore on my tounge (under my mouth is something completely different, it isnt painful but it worries me)

thank you

Not sure what you are looking for here, but it's best to be sure. So get an appointment with an experienced ENT and have it thoroughly checked out. Don't wait, it's to important to hope it goes away later. Best to be sure of what it is.
