I found another lesion in my mouth. this one is getting bigger daily. I have had two spots since the reconstruction and free flap in April but they were granulation tissue.(Over healing or proud flesh) This one is sort of soft and not white so maybe its not cancer. I am getting worried and will call my doctor tomorrow. I have a bad feeling this time because I get exhausted very easily and thats what happened before. I dont know what I expect yall to do, I am just afraid.

Hang in there and let us know what the doc says. I don't suppose you have been on antibiotics lately, have you? DH sometimes gets thrush that makes white spots in his mouth that grow rapidly.

Take a deep breath, see your Doc, keep us posted! Right now everything looks like cancer, but it may not be! I hope it is, as Marcie said, just a little thrush. That's what it sounds like, but see the Doc to make sure. Good luck,

Andrea

Call your doc for peace of mind and schedule an appt. I had a lesion removed from the flap side and biopsied, it was benign. Let us know how you do with it....God Bless, Carol

Thank you. I will let you know, I am going to try and schedule an appointment for Friday because I have to drive 2 hours to the doc and cant get off before then. I had thrush last month and was on anti biotics. The two that were benign were on my cheek, this one is sort of connected to my tongue from my cheek. It has a black spot on it. It is not hard though like the cancer was. Thank all of you for your support and prayers.
