Okay, so I didn't actually get to see the oncologist because he was running way late and my mom had to be back at work and so we ended up leaving before he got there. However, I did snatch the report from my CT Scan and read it. Apparently I have a 1.2 cm x 6 mm lymph node in the submental region which has well-defined borders and is at the moment considered to be reactive. I have two such lumps in my neck, one of which was not mentioned (and so I'm assuming that it is therefore not bad considering that it's big enough for something to have detected it if it was). My chest CT Scans were all clean, and all tissues in the mouth, nasopharynx, oropharynx, etc. were considered normal and symmetrical. My mom said at the bottom of the report were the words "Will respond to...", but she didn't catch what it actually was. But I definitely feel a whole lot better now, and my rescheduled appointment is for this Thursday.
