Hi Bill and welcome, and thank you for the offer of help.

As you will probably discover from reading this site, there are plenty who will be grateful for your advice and cheered by the information on Recovery you have already given,

Welcome, Billy. What a wonderful outlook you have. That is a good lesson for us all, no matter what sort of cancer we have.

JUST A SHORT NOTE FOR ALL OF YOU THAT READ THIS,I HAD A CUSTOMER COME IN YESERDAY AND ASK ME TO DESIGN A PENDANT FOR ANYBODY INVOLVED WITH CANCER,THE REASON I MENTION THIS IS THAT THE ONLY CANCERS THAT SEEMED TO BE PROMOTED IS LUNG AND BREAST CANCER AND MOSTLY BREAST CANCER.WOULD'NT IT BE NICE IF ALL CANCERS COULD BE RECONIZED BE THE WORLD AS A WHOLE.THAT THIS DISEASE IS ALL ONE AND THE SAME NO MATTER WHERE IT ATTACKS US,SO I WONDER WHY THE PUBLIC NOTICES MORE ONE THAN THE OTHER,JUST A THOUGHT,B.

HI Billy, and welcome. I think we all agree; much more attention and focus needs to be directed at oral cancer. This website and the OCF, have made huge bounds forward in that regard but there is much to do.

I'd love to see what you come up with for a design; It certainly can't hurt, and ideally it will help spread the word even more

Welcome to the family Billy. While Dragan has commented on the CAPS, I need to remind you that OCF does not allow commercial addresses or links in your signature block. We've had to tell many people, you are not being singled out. Please take it out by going into your profile and editing your signature.

Individual cancer organizsations are all trying to raise money selling something unique to their group of people. For me I still wear my Lance Armstorng yellow bracelet Lance gave me several years ago when he and I were together at a CDC meeting, and the band was just a seed of an idea. It is all about ANY cancer, a reminder to me that each day I need to apply myself and LIVE strong. While cancer is hundreds of unique diseases, you are right, we are all part of the same family regardless of which type of body part is involved.
