Just got my computer back today. New hard drive and mother board installed. Thank God it was under the warrenty.
I sure missed everyone and have alot of reading to do to catch up.

So GREAT to hear from you. I was going to write a post tonite asking "where's Dan" because I hadn't heard from you. I didn't know you had computer problems.
Hope all is well with you...how's the eating going? Dan is 2 months post treatment and still really can't get anything down. He is working on trying to drink water and I just bought some Thick-It to try and help...what a long, painful process!

I even had a hard drive crash and raced around, found another, recovered everything except my wife's favorites and got everything going again. She's still pissed at me, I'm sure, but I tried. Good to see you back.

Husband diagnosed with stage III tonsil and floor of mouth cancer in August 2002. Three rounds of chemo/42 RAD treatments. Upper right lung lobectomy in March 2003. (Benign)

SCC Left Mandible. Jaw replaced with bone from leg. Neck disection, 37 radiation treatments. Recurrence 8-28-07, stage 2, tongue. One third of tongue removed 10-4-07. 5-23-08 chemo started for tumor behind swallowing passage, Our good friend and much loved OCF member Minnie has been lost to the disease (RIP 10-29-08). We will all miss her greatly.

Mark, 21 Year survivor, SCC right tonsil, 3 nodes positive, one with extra-capsular spread. I never asked what stage (would have scared me anyway) Right side tonsillectomy, radical neck dissection right side, maximum radiation to both sides, no chemo, no PEG, age 40 when diagnosed.

Diagnosed May 2002 with Stage IV tongue cancer, two lymph nodes positive. Surgery to remove 1/2 tongue, neck dissection, 35 radiation treatments. 11/2007, diagnosed with cancer of soft palate, surgery 12/14/07, jaw split. 3/24/10, cancer on tongue behind flap, need petscan, surgery scheduled 4/16/10
