I'm a survivor of stage 4 tongue cancer that metasticized to my lung. I just stumbled onto this organization and thought I'd see what I can learn or offer.

Hi Jeff: Welcome to OCF! It's a great place to be! Please share some of your story, and don't forget to update your 'signature', so that others will see it and can access it with their questions or comments.

Where were your treated? What type of treatment did you receive? What was the greatest obstacle you had to overcome?

Hey Jeff!

Good to have you join the ranks. You will find quality content on all things cancer, and truly caring and sincere members from every walk and persuasion in life. I only wish I had discovered this site closer to the beginning of my treatment instead of the end. Regardless of when you get involved however, its never too late and you'll be glad that you did! Any contributions you make are greatly appreciated and richly rewarded. An inspiration from any point of view.

Congratulations on your excellent progress through treatment and on surviving this horrific disease.

I wish you continued success and a long & healthy life.

Thanks for all the welcomes! I just got the results of the latest scans and I'm now "very healthy". That's 18 months now. The Dr. feels that my high fitness level prior to diagnosis has been my biggest advantage.
