Your husband's situation is very complicated and it's understandable that he would be discouraged. I can't tell you what to do other than to get all the facts about what is involved with each procedure. Does he understand what an angioplasty is? It might not be as bad as he is imagining. Would they do radiation and chemo as an alternative to surgery? Not everyone has surgery but they would need to consider the side effects of these treatments on his other medical problems. I'm sorry to hear that you are dealing with all this. It's just not fair.
