Hello my name is Jennifer I am the oldest daughter of Jorene. My mother has stage 4 cancer of the laranyx. She has underwent chemo and radiation therapy. The cancer is spreading fast. She has never had surgery. Now the doctors are saying no more chemo and they will not try to remove the cancer. I need help to find another treatment option. She has had the fu-5 or 5 fu,cisplatin, and taxotere. My mother is only 48 years old. I am not ready to lose her.She wants to continue to fight however we don't know where to turn. We live in Iowa. Her doctors are at the University of Iowa hospitals and Clinics. We are willing to try anything. She had her second feeding tube put in last week. She is very weak right now. Thank you in advance for what ever help you can offer!!!

Jennifer,

I read your other post as well. I don't know anything about this Erbitux but I know you will learn from others. I just wanted to say welcome.

I will be thinking of you and your mom on Wed. I hope you can find the answers you need here and from the Dr.
Don't give up I have read some real amazing stories here. I know someone will be able to give you some good help.

Take care,
Diane
