As most of you know, I have dealt with recurrent disease (Scc) for the past eight months. My last two scans were clean. I do not have to return for another scan until January.
I am blessed to have such a vast network, such as OCF, my church family and other area church families praying for remission. I am in remission now and trying daily to regain some of the strength I lost in Chemotherapy.
Talking about weight loss, I lost from a whopping 370 pounds to my current weight of 200 pounds 19" of girth.
Anyone need any extra skin?
Love all
Darrell

Darrell,

I, too, am pleased to hear of your wonderful progress with your recurrence. It appears that you have yet again beaten back the monster.

Did you have more chemo? Were more radiation and surgery options this time?

Thanks,

Loretta

Darrell,
Your story certainly gives light and hope to those patients coping with cancer recurrence. The weight drop is a positive side-effect for you, I think. Well done and three cheers to our fighter.
